What we liked
- + Same 6 x 14 inch size as the spider it replaces, with a large basket for big hop additions.
- + 304 stainless steel with 300 micron mesh, which the listing says removes most solid impurities.
- + Two hook handles hold it firmly on the rim of a kettle or bucket fermenter.
Trade-offs
- - Listing is thin on detail and the brand is not well known.
- - A 14 inch basket needs a tall kettle to fit comfortably, so check your pot depth.
