What we liked
- + Etched volume markings let you check pre-boil and post-boil volumes without a measuring stick
- + 20 gallon capacity comfortably fits ten gallon batches and long high-gravity boils
- + Plain version keeps cost down and leaves you free to add a valve later
Trade-offs
- - Plain model has no ball valve, so you will siphon or lift the wort out
- - Big pot needs a propane burner or strong electric element to boil
