What we liked
- + Hefeweizen is quick to ferment, so you get drinkable beer sooner than many styles
- + Kit covers equipment and ingredients for a complete first brewing session
- + Small 1 Gallon scale keeps mistakes cheap while you learn the process
Trade-offs
- - Refill ingredient kits are needed after the first batch, which adds ongoing cost
