What we liked
- + Dispensing valve makes it easy to pour kombucha out without lifting or tipping the jar.
- + Volume markers show a 1 gallon fill line for brewing and a 2 cup fill line for starter tea.
- + Includes a custom elastic cloth cover and instructions, and comes from a hobby brand with a hand-assembled line.
Trade-offs
- - It does not include a stand, which the jar and stand set it replaces did, and the jar does not include a SCOBY or tea.
- - One gallon capacity is small for a continuous-brew setup that you draw from often.
