What we liked
- + Golden Light adds a touch more malt color than Pilsen Light
- + 1 LB bag is a convenient size for starters and small batches
- + Works as a base for pale ales, blondes and golden ales
Trade-offs
- - Slight color means it is not ideal for the palest lagers
- - One pound only supplements a larger batch grain bill
